An Unusual Gift by Alan and Dorothy Langstaff

Dorothy and I pioneered a Renewal Ministry in Australia back in the days of the Charismatic Renewal. It was a faith venture that required us to trust the Lord for our needs and our provisions. In 1975 we unexpectedly found ourselves being thrust into the creation of a new Bible School Vision Bible College as the school’s principals. It would not have been my choice at the time, but it was quite clear God had arranged it. That was sufficient for me. He would surely enable me to cope somehow, proving Himself faithful to us and our family. I was reminded of a remarkable occasion 12 months earlier when God had chosen to say to our family, “I love you, I am with you and I will take care of all your needs.” He had done this by answering our prayers for help in a spectacular way.
