HISTORY
OF KAIROS MINISTRIES
In 1973 Alan and Dorothy founded The Temple Trust, later
named Vision Ministries. During the days of the Charismatic
Renewal in the 1970's, 'The Temple Trust', was a major
renewal ministry, which impacted the church in the nation
of Australia. His ministry in Australia found him holding
large conferences and sponsoring crusades featuring
world-renowned leaders in the charismatic renewal. He also
edited a national charismatic magazine called Vision
Magazine, established a Bible College, and hosted the
Australian PTL Club television program.
But after responding to an Abraham call to move to America,
they laid down this highly successful ministry in Australia
and moved to the United States in 1980. They worked out of
North Heights Lutheran Church in Roseville, St Paul for the
first year. The next 3 years was spent in Cambridge, MN.
After returning to the Twin Cities, they commenced a
ministry that would seek to 'equip the saints for the work
of the ministry.' (Ephesians 4:12)
The ministry was put on the back burner, so to speak, when
in early 1986, Alan was called to be the Senior Pastor of a
church in Eden Prairie, later to be named 'Antioch
Christian Fellowship.'
Fourteen years later, Alan retired from pastoral ministry
and re-activated the ministry into its present form.
